Not just big hills - mountains!  Today we set off with my cousin and did a 10-mile round trip to a local summit.  We started off in the desert - cactus, sand, rocks - and climbed to a peak covered in pines and snow.  A great day, although a bit stiff this evening.  We climbed over 3/4 of a mile in altitude.
